Delight holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked extensively in the mental health field. Delight has volunteered at the Crisis Center of Comal County working with survivors of abuse and Hope Hospice of New Braunfels helping families experiencing grief and loss. Delight primarily approaches counseling incorporating theories based on person-centered, cognitive behavioral, relational cultural, and choice/reality models.

Delight works effectively with individuals searching their life for empowerment and self-esteem and alleviating symptoms of depression and anxiety. Delight also focuses on couples counseling helping partners to communicate and work effectively together. She provides support for individuals experiencing grief and loss due to divorce, separation, or relationships that have come to an end.
