Practice Specialties

I have experience working with clients of all ages including children, adolescents and adults. In addition, I have experience working with families, couples and addiction recovery.

My Counseling Approach

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. I begin by developing a trusting relationship in which the pace of therapy is set in a collaborative way. Next, we create a plan to achieve goals by understanding you, your environment, and your desires. I embody a compassionate curiosity about each client and believe that every person has the ability to be the author of their own story. I frequently use a variety of techniques to support my clients. Together, we decide what tools work best. I believe in understanding the role that culture and sexual identity plays in all people, while understanding the importance of empowerment and positive affirmations. Lastly, I feel that client feedback is one of the keys to successful therapy.
